About

Intellectual Property attorney Robert Kent

Robert J. Kent

I have nearly two decades of experience in intellectual property litigation and counseling with a focus on patents and trade secrets.  As a trained computer scientist and former software engineer, many of my cases have focused on high tech and computational life sciences.  I have brought my targeted analytical approach to bear in collaborating with cross-functional teams to help all client stakeholders, both within and outside legal departments, to understand complex legal issues and the impact they will have on the business.  This has allowed me to resolve matters in ways that both manage expectations and achieve business goals efficiently.
